Alberta Wolf Hunting & Coyote Hunting
Wolf hunts and coyote hunts with Double Diamond Wilderness Trails
offering guided predator hunts for timber wolf, & coyotes in
Alberta, Canada.
Join us on the ultimate predator hunting
experience. Our wolf hunts & coyote hunts take place along the eastern
slopes of the Rocky Mountains of Alberta where there is a large poplutation
of wolves & coyotes.
We hunt timber wolves from January through March when the temperatures
are cold, the snow is deep and the wolves & coyotes are hungry. We
hunt over established baits from heated ground blinds. Hunters will
be delivered to the remote heated ground blinds via skidoo or quad.
Leading up to the bait site will be miles and miles of scented skidoo
trails which allow the wolves easy traveling in the deep snow. Tracking
and calling of wolf packs is also effective when conditions are favorable.
Temperature and snow conditions can vary greatly from year to year,
with the use of heated blinds it is possible to hunt comfortably in
the cold weather.
This hunt is expected to be 80% opportunity with a 50% kill rate.
In Alberta there is no limit on the number of wolves and coyotes that
you may harvest. The area we are hunting is experiencing a severe
wolf problem and the ungulates are in serious trouble. We expect tremendous
results and hope to turn the table on our big game herds.
We take a limited number of hunters, 4 hunters per week for 3 weeks.
This is a very remote adventure and hunting conditions can be extremely
cold. |
